HAAS VF-5SS Work Center

The Haas VF-5SS machining center is a high-performance machine tool designed for milling operations versatile and efficient. Among its included options are a programmable cooling nozzle, an evacuation screw chips and rigid tapping. The machine is equipped with a cooling system through the tool at 21 Bar, an automatic air jet device and a minimum lubricant quantity system for better performance of processing. The stroke of the axes are respectively 1270 mm for the X axis, 660 mm for the Y axis and 635 mm for the Z axis, allowing to manage large pieces. The VF-5SS is equipped with a spindle that reaches 12,000 revolutions per minute and it has a 40 taper tool holder, offering a power of 22.4 kW and a maximum torque of 122 Nm at 2000 RPM. The rapid advances are 30 meters per minute, making the processing center efficient and fast. The machine also includes a tool magazine with 24 positions and is equipped with USB and Ethernet interfaces, facilitating the transfer and management of machining programs. These features make the Haas VF-5SS particularly suitable for a wide range of milling applications, guaranteeing high versatility and precision.
